This event offers aspiring and early-career curators the opportunity to hear from the 2024–5 New Curators fellows about the curatorial process and hidden labour behind researching, producing and delivering akâmi-.
Participants will be guided through the four bodies of work in akâmi- with a close examination of the artists’ materials, modes of production and display strategies. The session will also explore how these artistic choices shaped the curatorial process, from research and interpretation to loans and installation.
